Our home county
BC's Tree Service is based at 211 Hughes Ln in St. Charles, which puts every city in St. Charles County within about twenty-five minutes of the shop. That matters for tree work. Estimates happen within days, and storm calls get a same-day look when a structure is involved. We know the trees here because we take them down every week: a mix of mature pin oaks and sweetgums in the older river towns, Bradford pears and silver maples in the 1990s subdivisions, preserved white oaks in the newer neighborhoods, and real oak and hickory forest where the towns meet the conservation areas.
The same storms hit all of it. Summer storms split pears and tear big limbs off silver maples from St. Peters to Wentzville, and ice loads bring down oak limbs in Dardenne Prairie and Weldon Spring. Soaked clay lets roots pull loose and whole trees lean anywhere the ground stays wet.
